SINES REFINERY IMO2020 PROJECT

Galp Energia has awarded TECHNOEDIF, for a fixed global value, a contract for the execution in EPCM (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management) mode of the works related to the IMO2020 project, the objective of which is to produce marine fuel grade with low sulphur content (0.5%) while maintaining the current production capacity of marine fuel grade with a sulphur content of 3.5%.

TECHNOEDIF’s activity, within the scope of this project, began in December 2018 and continued until July 2020, and activities were suspended from March to June 2020 due to COVID-19.

This award confirms Galp Energia’s confidence in TECHNOEDIF Engenharia’s technical and project and construction management capacity.
